Any suggestions for chronic nausea and vomiting with fibromyalgia?

My daughter is 21, diagnosed a few months ago. To complicate things, she has been having periods where she throws up everything she eats and drinks. This will last a couple of weeks, then subside for a couple weeks. She has seen a gastro dr at the University of Penn and is going through diagnostics, which will take a couple of months. Any suggestions until then? Thank you...
