Do you want to help the underprivileged?

If you do want to help them, Are you willing to simply throw tons of money at them or are you willing to help them the right way and be committed to play a more active role. That means, adopt a 12 year old street orphan who lost his parents to drugs and crime? Get on a plane and fly to Ethiopia and teach the locals how to cultivate their land? Or even simpler, start a community cl and teach single mothers about investing in their education, managing their money, finding a stable job, and raise their children the right way? Or are you content with simply pay state and federal taxes, hoping that the government uses your money to take care of everything, and if they don't, protest or lobby in DC?
