Has anyone with hypothyroid lost weight while on Synthroid?

I had lapband surgery and lost over 100 lbs. Then I developed hypothyroid and gained 40 lbs back. The endocrinologist put me on 75 mgs of Synthroid for the past 4 months. While my other symptoms have subsided, being cold, hair falling out, acne, cold sores and being tired all the time, I haven't lost an ounce.
