I am just starting out on cooking....?

Betty Crocker's Cookbook has every basic recipe in it. I taught myself how to cook from that book. Here in the US, I like to go to Family Dollar Stores or the Everything in the Store's $1 places. You can get some awesome cooking stuff really cheap. I got a 4 piece plate set, plates, saucers, bowls, and cups for $10 at FD.
