Is kurt angle the man to beat Cain velasquez?

Although he's never fought mma professionaly I've a friend who said he's seen him train and that when he lets those hands loose his striking is on a par with Anderson Silva if not better. So what do you say. I know he's old but look at George Foreman he was in his 40's when he won the title and Angle is just so good at those take downs. I think if him and Cain went toe he'd sub him.
